At our clinics, we’re proud to offer modern x-ray and ultrasound facilities, along with a caring, experienced team trained to use them effectively. Having this technology on-site means we can often reach a diagnosis quickly—especially important in urgent situations—so we can get started on the right treatment without delay. Whether that’s a medical treatment plan, surgery, or a referral to a specialist, we can act fast when your pet needs us most.

Ultrasound is a safe, gentle, and non-invasive way for us to see what’s going on inside your pet’s body in real time. It helps us assess organs like the liver, kidneys, intestines, and bladder, and is especially useful for investigating unexplained symptoms, confirming pregnancies, or guiding certain procedures. When needed, our vets can also take fine needle samples (small biopsies) from any areas of concern using ultrasound guidance—this is much less invasive than surgery and can often give us the answers we need with little to no discomfort for your pet.

X-rays (radiographs) are another key tool we use to look at your pet’s bones, joints, and internal organs. They’re great for diagnosing a range of issues from fractures and arthritis to chest and abdominal concerns, such as certain heart issues or blockages in the digestive system. X-rays are quick, painless, and in many cases, can be done during your pet’s visit or with a short stay in the clinic.

The best part? Ultrasound and x-ray results are available straight away, so there’s no waiting around for answers. That means we can move forward with the best care plan for your pet as quickly as possible
