We offer a wide range of veterinary services to ensure the health, well-being and peak performance of your horse.

These include but are not limited to:

Vaccinations

  • Regular vaccinations against diseases such as tetanus (lockjaw), herpes virus (respiratory disease and abortion), and strangles (respiratory disease) are important preventative measures. We will recommend a protocol based on your horse’s needs.

Breeding

  • Fertility, infertility, pregnancy management and AI are all part of our services.

Lameness Evaluation

  • With our expertise and diagnostic equipment we offer diagnostic work-ups through to complete management plans.

Radiology

  • We provide in clinic and on farm digital x-ray services ensuring your horse receives timely and accurate diagnostic imaging wherever it’s needed. Our portable digital X-ray equipment allows us to capture high-resolution images with minimal stress to your horse, facilitating rapid diagnosis and treatment planning. Whether you’re dealing with lameness evaluations, pre-purchase exams, or monitoring orthopaedic conditions, our experienced veterinary team is equipped to provide clear, detailed imaging and expert interpretation.

Wound Care

  • Our team can assist with assessing, managing and follow up appointments to ensure wounds are managed well and your horse gets back to full capacity as soon as possible. In addition, assessing tetanus vaccination status and vaccinating if required.

Dental Treatments

  • Regular dental care is essential for horses to ensure they can access the best nutrition, and any pain is assessed and treated promptly. We are able to sedate horses for the best access to the whole mouth, and ensure treatment outcomes are thorough.

Skin Disease

  • Horses are prone to environmental skin diseases which may be weather-related for example rain rot which thrives in wet environments. There are also a range of infectious diseases such as ringworm, bacterial infections and parasitic infections from mites. Targeted treatment with the right solution is important to ensure these conditions are managed quickly and effectively.

Neonatal Care (Routine & Intensive)

  • Tailored care for new-born foals, from routine check-ups to to first aid and medical treatment.

Neurological Work-Ups

  • Thorough evaluations to diagnose and treat neurological conditions. Signs that horses may present with include gait abnormalities, weakness or behavioural changes.

Colic Evaluation and Management

  • Expert assessment and treatment of colic to ensure your horse’s comfort and health.

Respiratory Evaluations

  • Including endoscopy and bronchial lavage for accurate diagnosis and treatment of respiratory issues.

Gastroscopy

  • We have our own gastroscope that provides accurate diagnosis of Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome and allows prompt and effective treatment.

Routine Soft Tissue Surgery

  • Minor day surgeries and procedures such as castrations and wound management.

Ophthalmic Evaluations & Treatments

  • Comprehensive eye care to address any ocular issues.

Laminitis

  • Diagnosis and management of this painful condition to improve your horse’s quality of life. We can also either hire out, or purchase on your behalf specially designed soft ride boots for managing laminitis.

Sarcoids

  • Effective management of these common skin tumours. We refer to skin specialists to ensure the best outcome and tailored treatment protocol for your horse.
